Kaleb Aldred has had the Anna J for over 30 years and he’s been a loyal co-op fisherman during that time. He and his partner Andrea Fraga have Middle Island Gardens on Middle Island out in front of Sitka and sell organic produce in Sitka. Andrea also runs the Pacific High garden program that provides organic produce for Pacific High and other local schools. Feeding people is what we do! In some of these shots, we see them working on the Anna J in Sitka’s haulout.
